i have just brought a laptop samsung with win 7 pro already on it and a load of other junk and trial softwares as well  its far easier to do a clean install and get rid of the crap. it did not come with a win 7 disk.
i have a win7 aio rtm disk would this be ok to install the pro version from this on an oem machine using the original prod key to activate it again or do i need a version of win 7 pro oem?
    thanks in adavance.

thanks for your reply.it must be slic 2.1 as it is brand new and came badged with win 7 and has win 7 prod key on the licence sticker and came with win 7 pro already installed,so i guess it will be ok to install win7 pro from an untouched rtm iso and when asked just use my prod code from the licence sticker.

You can also start Windows Anytime Upgrade, and enter an Ultimate SLP key.
