I did something bad (probably) and lost my activation on my Windows 10. (from upgraded and then clean install). What i did next was: I reinstalled windows 7, activated with Daz's loader upgraded to PRO and the activation was not still successful. Is there any chance I can re-activate it? Any remedy? Thanks
OK, slowly for the Elders here. You upgraded to Win 10 (from what?) and then re-installed Win 7 (WHY?) to upgrade again. Huih ... now doggie is dizzy .
I did the standard upgrade procedure. I must've done something bad and I lost the activation. It was saying Windows is not activated when in fact it was before I did something. So then I did the same upgrade procedure again. Installed 7,upgraded to 10 and it is still not activated
Seems yer lacking luck here. System was online during the process? Upgrade path correct (i.e. not Home Premium to Pro)?
I am guessing I am outta luck of ever actiating the same machine. I did the whole upgrade process again and no luck. It says windows not activated, buy key.. Bla bla, your key ending in 3v..is blocked. But I did not insert any key. I just did the upgrade.
I think I was experienced that issue as well. (From Windows 7 SP1 clean install, no extra KB Updates upgrading to Windows 10 and cannot activate) However on my findings the upgrade process to Windows 7 to Windows 10 might have several prerequisites in order to activate properly. But not much idea which KB updates needs to installed before performing the Windows upgrading to make Windows 10 activate.
Again: Was the machine online whole upgrade long? The error appears either due to Server hickups or due to HWID not logged, in your case it might be the latter.
