    Hi folks,

I have a question there...I have a students license for ms win 7 professional x64...I have no problem with activating it but what if I want to change some hardware and reformat my harddisk? Is there a possibility use the same serial number on a reformated harddisk?

An Admin said that I must contact Microsoft for reactivation...but is there a non MS solution?

    Thanks in advance.

You're allowed to call MS all the time. With your license there should'nt be any problem.

A non MS solution could be a loader (I recommend Daz's loader)

thank you guys...how does it work with token restore? Does the token.dat file contain activation informations? Can I use the token.dat from my professional version after I reformat it? Just copy and paste?

    Sorry for my crappy english.

    cheers.

With the method PMR came up with it is possible to extend the 4 rearm limit to infinite.
