nah, I prefer using the full v10.36.701.2019 Realtek LAN driver package that includes the setup program since I'm used to installing them that way also, this version is for Win10 only
The first link he posted has the latest full install packages for all OSs. mcz55: Thanks for this. It would be great if this thread was kept updated whenever new versions are released (like the Realtek audio driver thread).
1) yeah right, but not everyone reads properly.. 2) good idea, i will do my best to keep it updated. Everyone is welcome to post updates as well so i can post it to the main thread if i didn't notice it myself
mcz55: Thanks for posting these. You can see the differences when comparing the driver's .inf files- they've added several new supported device descriptors and corrected a couple typos from the old driver's .inf files. As you mentioned, since they're the same version number as previous, they won't be recognized as new. I rolled back to an older version and then installed these updated ones. Thanks again for updating this thread.
They released a new version again (25th Nov 2019), with a new version number this time: 10.37.1028.2019
They released a major update again (after multiple unversioned ones), it went from version number 10.38.1118.2019 to 10.39.212.2020 Note: i won't ever upload INF files again, just provide heads up when an update is released on the official download page. Reason: available for many platforms and OS
This was very helpful, the Asus site had outdated drivers and couldn't find latest after googling until this thread.
Heads up - they released a major version update (10.45.928.2020) a few weeks ago Now i personally notice better internet stability, idk if it's because they improved something.
They released a major version update (10.49.413.2021) last week I missed a bunch of earlier updates in this topic, btw
