Recently Installed Updates Removed CD/DVD Devices

    I just installed Windows 7 Professional recent updates and all my cd/dvd devices have been removed and can't be accessed. Tried to re-install drivers but did not work. How do I restore my cd/dvd devices?

    Try this registry fix!
    Paste code into an empty text file, and save as "RemoveUpperLowerFiltersCD.reg" (Make sure you get the extension .reg). Then run the file.
    You will probably have to reboot to make it work.
