So i have enterprise version installed, fiddled with telemetry disables that i found here and i think it caused recommnded updates to not show up anymore? Maybe this is notthe cause, but the fact is that tey don't show up.
Eset nod32 antivirus notifies me that there are for example updates for the intel 4600 display driver (which was true, asi after ive went to devices and manully searched for upgraded driver it found it and installed it) but windows update cannot find them.
Any ideas what should i do?
Important updates are coming thrugh, as today ive had a big update.

delete that AV crap and undo any changes you've made by "fiddling" around

Just because a different program thinks something is available doesn't mean that MS has put it for download on their servers.
Have you tried getting the driver a different way?

It is for now. Even on a clean install, the hiding tool finds Silverlight (and found it since day 1 of RTM), but you can never get it to actually install it via WU.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how many people are actually using those various spying, telemetry removal scripts and apps. All that messing around with the OS has to make to system unstable. If people are that worried about spying, etc then they should not use anything connected to the internet. We are being tracked either by the internet, paying with credit/debit cards, surveillance cameras, new cars with gps, social media, smartphones, the list is endless. Removing the so called "spying" from Windows 10 is not going to make anyone's life more private. It is a losing battle.

It's not lost, but most people thinks like you, so it just make it harder. Would you allow someone to enter into your home at night and let him look at your loockers? Then why you allow to do it with your computer or your comunications?

If no one install Windows 10, or if the installs quota is less than Windows 8, you will see how fast things will change. Also the organizations have more power to do such changes, if the IT manager of some organization beleive Windows 10 is a privacy intruder and don't renew their SA, you will see how fast things changes.

yes they are available, asi i said, i went in the device manager and manually updated the drivers for display. by manually i mean i let it search automatically for updated drivers
i agree the telemetry could be the source of my problems, but i only deleted the 2 services which are for sure for telemetry
    sc delete DiagTrack
    sc delete dmwappushservice
    echo "" > C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Diagnosis\ETLLogs\AutoLogger\AutoLogger-Diagtrack-Listener.etl
    cacls AutoLogger-Diagtrack-Listener.etl /d SYSTEM

others did this and i dont think they break update
    any other ideas?

yes, it must be their fault somehow...
today an update for the asus trackpad came. an update that nod32 found a few days ago...
strange. maybe their servers are very stressed from all those downloads and decided to postpone the non-critical updates
