Recovery discs for HP notebook

    I had to install a new HD on a presario notebook C791WU and need the recovery discs to re-install vista.

    I have checked the HP support website and emailed them but can't seem to obtain the discs.

    Does anybody have any idea where I could obtain these discs.

    The notebook was bought in NZ but my son is now back in the UK and I think that's what's causing the difficulty at obtaining the correct discs.

    You shouldve created the disks yourself, blame yourself........

    Call HP and ask them to send it to you and pay for it..

    i ordered mine from HP.com .. they have it .. but you have to pay for it .. it's really cheap.. i forget exactly..

    we have different models.. otherwise i would upload mine for you ..

    Do you still have the old HDD?

    Why did you change drives?
