    Is in windows 10 Pro the Restore factory settings option in Reset my PC?
    If yes, the intact WIMBoot image "recovery partition" should recover to home edition.

    Nope, but I can copy winre.wim from recovery partition

    No I meant the windows 10 home edition key that usually is on a sticker.

    The sticker contains the Windows 10 Logo, with a different background color, depending on version. NO ProductKey is given anymore by either Microsoft and OEM!

    To bypass the in BIOS embedded Product Key, users need to place an ei.cfg and/or pid.txt file into the Sources Folder of the used ISO.
