is there a reg tweak to allow txt file pinning to notepad icon on taskbar like the file explorer icon allows you to pin folders? i was able to do this on win10 without tweaking. edit: i did this to work pin notepad to taskbar go to>personalize>start>enable-turn on "show recently opened items in start, jump lists, and file explorer" then open and close a txt file you want pinned, right click on notepad down on taskbar, hover over file and select pin to list, done.
