    Just wandering if anyone may be able to point me to the registry entry created when enabling/disabling top result in address bar for top result search in IE 9 Beta, Windows 7 Ultimate (x64)

    Thanks

    Anyways, I eventually found it-should have laid this to rest sooner; they are in Group Policy-user and admin the following for the latest IE 9 RC:

    Code:
    ; DISABLE TOP RESULT SEARCH IN ADDRESS BAR
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes]
    "TopResult"=dword:00000000
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchScopes]
    "TopResult"=dword:00000000

    OOT
    Having same problem with google here lately, e.g. query for -> text here , (text) here , text (here) or "text" here , text "here" always returning with garbage.... nothing related to query (not always but more of the time)

    @topic can't help you with this one...
