Reinstall, Activation & Backups

    I may need to reinstall Windows 8. I've already done a backup image with a bunch of my software installed. If I do a reinstall to test some things and it automatically activates, will I still be able to use the backup image I already created? Since it's on the same computer, will the activation code be the same?

    yeah dude, go for it , it should be ok as long as it is in the same hardware

    as hbhb said - go for it,nothing 'untoward' will happen :) In fact,when I get in the mood to tinker around with the OS,I just make a recovery image via the 'Windows 7 file recovery' and if something bad happens,I just revert to it and .. no harm,no foul :)
