The Windows 8.1 preview will be made available in 13 languages: Arabic, English (US), Chinese Simplified and Traditional, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish
Funny how noone else pointed it out,but 8.1 probably won't be released at 9AM Pacific(12PM Eastern) as that's just the beginning of the keynote on //build/ as per both the article and the //build/ schedule. My bet's on 11 or 12 Pacific time ,after the end of the keynote... Also, seriously,is it that bloody difficult to convert the event time to local ?! Edit:From what I could find, Windows 8's Preview versions were released around noon,so it's feasible that MS will do it again this year.
Previous Previews were released about the same time the keynote started, with only a slight delay, not hours
Funny,I could've sworn that the links weren't live until the end of 2011's //build/ (for the dev preview). Oh well, there's only one way to find out for certain... grab a nice book (ie the Time Machine from H.G. Wells),a glass of cognac and the remaining hours till the convention will... You get the idea
