Anybody knows any remote admin software that does work fine with Windows 7? Preferably free Radmin (not free) does not yet work RealVNC Ent (managed to get it working only without encryption) is way to slow with display Remote Desktop is great, but I need to be able to see the same what the end user Thanks sebus
It isnt free but TeamViewer works great. EDIT: You say RDP works great, why not use Remote Assistance?
Not remote desktop, but Remote Assistance will do what you are looking for. It allows both the remoter and the local user access to the same screen.
Because I need to have it working in client-server mode with no user interaction (hence TeamViewer is also no good for this - even it works fine as you say) sebus
Have you tried Logmein.com ? They have a free version that I've used on Vista & XP boxes, just not 7 yet.
Dameware NT Utilities is what I use. However it is not free. LogMeIn is free but you have to have the user install it.
Thanks, need to yet try it fully, but it looks very promising with very good pricing structure (not per workstation, but per admin) sebus
