I noticed the old thread (hxxp://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/4077-Windows-Server-2008-R2-Terminal-Server-Licensing) regarding the "Other Agreement" technique to generate licenses. Doesn't seem like it's working any longer (at least for 2008 R2). Are there any current ways to unlock RDP services for 2008 R2 server?
just lic'd the other day, on 2012R2 dont use the web portal, just use the info directly in the license manager on the server..
still works for me too. Just did one a few months ago. Just google select agreement number and find one that works.
Plenty of 2012R2 RDS youtube videos that contain special agreement licenses listed right in the descriptions. Also, I am pretty sure the actual license itself is valid for every version of Windows Server.
Every time i click "install licenses", i am greeted with the obtain client license key pack prompt..... It wants to activate the server every time even though the server IS activated. If i reactivate the server (which i have) and then click install licenses, i get the same obtain client license pack prompt. I restarted the Licensing service with the same results. Any idea how i can get this working? EDIT/ The problem was the connection method was set for web and not automatic
