Hoping for a watermark remover. I tried the Windows 7 toolkit 1.8 and it had a watermark remover, but that didn't work. I have a thread that has a wallpaper that'll hide the watermark.
me too.... i do not want to remove watermark in win test version....it gives something more......"only a few can have..."
I can confirm that setting bios date to 2012 and installing will show no time remaining(after running winver). Windows will then ask to validate, and this is where I keep failing. How can I change the product key? I'll have to look it up. I believe I will have to run from cmd prompt?
Installing in 2012 gets rid of the the remaining time bit in winver. But it returns the moment the clock is set to the present. If you remain in 2012 then activation, updates are a hassle and things behave very wierdly. Had tried this in 7850, then switched to janek's activator.
Not related to the watermarks but I was able to use this timebomb remover found here at MDL which worked after setting the date to 2012 but I then started getting random explorer popups saying that I am not genuine but windows retained itself after a full reboot in the date 2012 haha.
The explorer genuine popup should only happen once every reboot AFAIK. It happens after the system has been booted for a few minutes and you interact with explorer.
ok i replaces the shell32 file with new one and rebooted i still see watermark did i do something wrong
