Remove Guest Account?

    Has anyone worked out how to delete the Guest Account as i refuses to be removed even logged in as the highest level Admin?

    Try Command in elevated command prompt..

    NET USER GUEST /DELETE

    Why you want to delete built-in Account? My advice is to leave it & simply disable it if enable before...

    Right click Computer->Management.

    Open System tools->local users and groups, click user; right click user account and choose remove.

    Neither work not even if you are logged in as the hidden super admin hence why i made this thread and asked if anybody has worked out a way to remove it as you can remove any other unused account.

    Can you do it via control pannel -> user accounts -> turn off guest account?

    Turning it off isn't the problem it's deleting it that doesn't work.

    net user guest /active:no

    Thanks for that. :)

    That explains why it's the only account that can't be deleted , I never knew it was needed.
