Remove Timebomb on 7955?

Either nobody knows or nobody wants to share...

I have found that the activator version 0.9.1 by Jayblog works just fine but you will get random explorer popups saying you are not genuine after the expiration date but as far as IK it works just fine. I left my computer on for several hours with the date of May 2012 and it did not reboot me at all in the several hours I was gone. In fact I was still logged in and everything.

 

Actually everybody out here is waiting for a newer Build leak.So no one is bothered about the timebomb issue.So don't hope for a timebomb removal tool for the 7955 build.Get the newer build when available.More features might be unlocked in that.

 

And if no build is available until July?

 

Then it will be most likely the end of the world so you will not need your computer anyway!

I think it won't work.Certificates(in 'tokens' folder won't match).Perhaps replacing the folders 'spp' and 'oobe' with those from windows 7 and oem activation might work.Moreover the windows version(build names) in all replaced files and certificates must be changed.

 

Since there are no more leaks(at least for the time being), I think we should concentrate on working with this 7955 timebomb removal, instead of all those useless comments in other threads, this would be more beneficial to anyone with 7955 ....

Convert Windows 8 7955 license to Windows 7 Ultimate Retail

Finally got it guys..
I was trying to replace spp folder in 7955 with that of Win7Ultimate retail.But it didn't work.My mistake was trying to replace files when Windows software licencing had already read the original files.So what I needed to do was replace the files in install.wim file itself.
Files that we need-
i) tokens folder(windows\system32\spp in win7)
ii)store folder(user\appdata\roaming\microsoft in win7)
Now we got to replace these folders in windows\system32\spp in 7955's install.wim.
After installing windows with the new install.wim, it will be 7955 with Windows 7 retail licence,which can be activated using kms activation from Windows 7.

 

That will NEVER work IMO.
BluePill 3.0 will have a more straight-forward method to it
