remove wat detected virus by avast

    Hey guys. I recieved a wierd problem. Yesterday I was unable to acess sites like wikipedia ,antivirus sites and many other .
    but was able to acsess facebook . So scanned my pc with avast in boot time scan and a virus was detected (remove wat as pup:win32:wpakill{pup] .After that I was able to acess the internet .So is remove wat is spyware

    Its an obsolete product & always flagged by av's as it modifies critical system files.

    All cracks Flagged as Virus :D:fuyou31: but avast can't detect loader...LOL

    This is the 1st time avast has detected. Also due do this i was unable to access many sites

    What specific error messages did you get? Error 404? Page loading or time out issues? Once you got rid of RemoveWAT and used Daz's loader to activate as urie suggested are you still unable to access certain websites?
