    hi all,
recently i bought a Lenovo Ideapad U160 which comes with a built in broadcom wlan card (802.11n but only 1x1:mad:). i bought an intel wlan card 6200 which the bios refuses to accept. i am close to sell this @!ยง$% notebook when i came across this great forum:D. i have been reading for quite a while and i hope that i can find a way to mod the bios.

however, it is hard for me to find the correct path within this jungle of information:confused:. could somebody please guide me and give some basic instructions?

first of all i am struggling in getting a bios as on lenovo's website there is no bios update available.

    any help is appreciated.

    many thanks in advance.

    What bios is it?
If it isn't Phoenix, you could try to dump it and mod the dump.
At Phoenix bioses you need additional data that is only available at a regular biosupdate..
