*topic.* I used RemoveWAT since I was having trouble using other terms of reactivation, (I activated it before but the activation expired,) & I read somewhere RemoveWAT would work... except now I get a BSOD whenever I boot it.

    Any help?

    Thanks,

Well, there is always your friendly "Unintrusive Repair" trick you do with the Windows 7 DVD...

Basically it went along the lines of "Run DVD in compatibility mode for the most recent previous version of Windows, in my case Vista SP2 since I was running Windows 7, but in your case it will probably BE Windows 7, choose upgrade, and sit back while Windows repairs itself". Also, run the CD from within Windows.

I am not really sure if THIS works on Windows 8 and how it would work, but it's your best bet probably.

Next time don't use RemoveWAT or WATfix, one doesn't work and the other one bircked my PC hard and it took me quite some time to find the "Upgrage" trick
