Hi Hazar, thank you for the tools you are releasing here. I have a question regarding to your "RemoveWAT" tool. Doesn´t this tool change your installed Windows 7 to a "franken-build" when modifying the system files like the tool is doing?
Different tools... "Frankenbuilds" are when you have files from an older/preview version sitting ontop of a newer version to enable the test keys or some form of long term activation. This just disables some DLLs to prevent Windows from saying "ok, time's up!"
When i understood correctly, some DLL files will be modified when applying this patch. I prefer BIOS modding.
while i personally prefer bios mods how reliable do you think this solution it later with ms releasing a fix or patch for it hazar, and thanks for this by the way always great to have more solutions
Not everyone feels comfortable doing BIOS mods... But if the RemoveWAT works as it says, then this could very well be the easiest and safest method there is. I have a feeling that Microsoft will be all over this coming up with a fix or a check or some sort of verification.
Hazar, you have been a very busy boy havent you ? Seriously though congratulations on ANOTHER stroke of genius. Ive said this before in another thread but i will say it again......."Doesnt matter what M$ do there will always be somebody, somewhere one step ahead of the activation game".
It works perfect, formatted my laptop to test this one. 1. No nag screens 2. When i check the system settings i dont see any ''windows 7 activated'' or other screen 3. When i set my pc to 2099 and check the status of windows 7 it says activation not required (in everest), same as when your registered with a oem slp key. 4. Will always stay genuine because you use the trial key and microsoft update still thinks your in trial mode.
