Get cracking on this please MDL Experts: I want these two apps gone gone of my programs list ASAP: Windows Feedback Windows Support and Cortana the most useless app ever created in history for folks who have good sight and vision. Thanks In Advance Get Cracking and Chop Chop! lol
no need to crack anything, just install the Enterprise LTSB version. also, that's a stupid thread title
"Who Are You" Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? Who are you? Who, who, who, who? I woke up in a Soho doorway A policeman knew my name He said "You can go sleep at home tonight If you can get up and walk away" I staggered back to the underground And the breeze blew back my hair I remember throwin' punches around And preachin' from my chair That's *Who* I Am
The title is what got me in here... You can delete that stuff in two seconds by taking ownership of the main windows apps directory and deleting the apps files And that's it.
Well Sunshine every windows 10 version is pinned with these 3 apps and all I am saying is lets get cracking on getting them removed sooner or later this same question will be asked
Not everyone will get it can you put more details into your advanced tweak in getting these useless apps off computer that don't require or care for them
Um, wat? Before you were suggesting that home users don't run Enterprise, and now suggesting to purge most of the new stuff in 10? I have a solution: Run 7/8
lol@bromanbro I guess you didn't do your research well, all windows 10 versions have these very useless apps, Mister Bromanbro
Open Elevated CMD takeown /f "\program files\windowsapps" & ICACLS "\program files\windowsapps" Now go to "This PC" Click file Change folder and search options Then click the VIEW tab Then select the radio button "Show hidden files and folders" Also de-select "Hide protected operating system files" Click OK to register changes ----------------------------------------------------- Now navigate to the directory "C:\program files" Look for a folder called windowsapps Right click and select properties Go to security tab Click Advanced, Change the owner on the top to your USERNAME Click ok Now click the add button Add your username once again and select full permission Then click OK Then click OK one more time Then you get an error about enumerating objects in the container Click cancel Then Click ok Then click cancel Then click edit and make sure your username has full permission Click OK Then one of the folders will kinda match up with the app you want to delete --------------------------------------------------- Repeat the same steps to apply security permissions to it and delete the folder Unpin from the start menu Done.
