I have a user that I want to delete from my computer and under that username, I would like to keep all user files but make sure that the actual username I delete isn't in any way left with their name embedded in the files that will be mostly pictures. Is this possible or is the username removed when I make a new account and then access the files under the new account? Not really concerned about SID's so much as I am the username itself. Thank you

I've always booted linux and moved the files to an external drive/flash drive or a different user account folder because linux doesn't care about windows account relationships or file permissions, etc., and won't carry those properties over with the files.

Just use nsudo and launch a filemanager (not explorer) from it, or use the recovery consolle, or use linux or learn how to properly set the ownership of a file/folder.
