    Yes i saw it with latest VC++ 2017 release

    but the runtime files are dated/signed November 2018
    so it's superseded :)

    Please add Visual C++ 2015

    It is necessary for many games.

    Visual C++ 2017 is an update to 2015

    if any game/app installs 2015 just remove it and keep only up to date 2017.

    Follow the Mega link, look in the "Old" folder, you will find a "proper" and a "x86" only version of the DirectX installer

    Will Directx 9.0c runtime June 2010 (9.29.1974) still work with it's VCpp 2008 redist removed?

    In my experience, it has worked just fine. It will most probably continue to work just fine.
