    Wish they (microsoft) would provide patch notes, but they never do... and if they do provide something they're the most reddit tier notes made for grandma's.

    not to mention the listings in the download portal make no sense...

    I was going to do a nice post like @abbodi1406 did on 01-14 for what they threw up yesterday and the day before, but its all incomprehensible nonsense to me...
    as far as I can tell since having to download to get the ACTUAL version, its v14.28.29325.2, but they have a 14.24 range, and of course 2017 packages which should be covered by 2019... and going by version its older then in the package... sheeze microsoft sheeze

    not a developer I guess, WOOSH over my head

    Tried that but unfortunately still the same error, it may of corrupted something in the registry I even reinstalled ACDsee
    This is the one line I get when installing the package using wilenty installer which I have used for years without a issue.
    Install ""; ExitCode: 1620; indicates: "This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package"

    I gave up and ended up putting my previous Macrium Reflect Backup on, all good again.
    I will wait for the next update. X fingers that will be ok.
    Thanks

    @Wolfzz it's not @abbodi1406 fault.

    M$ change everything there and back. So, probably they don't know how it should work correctly.

    BTW, long time ago I shared for you VC++ repack with repair option, so, next time please use it in case of the problems with impossible uninstall (ExitCode: 1620; ExitCode: 1603; etc.).

    Happy Easter,
    and best regards.

    (OP)
    14.29.30030 contain VC_Runtime_arm64

    but i'm not sure if that ment for all Win10 arm64 builds, or the insider builds that have x64 emulation (21277 and later)
