Hey Guys, Is there an tweak out there that can replace Edge with IE on the taskbar for all users? I don't want to completely remove it because there will be users that may ask for it later on. I'm using the latest build 6607 Enterprise x64. Thanks
Doing that will just take it off the current logged on user. What i was looking for is some registry tweaks that you can deploy to hundreds of pcs during an OSD install. Thanks for your reply.
Very interesting, why someone should be able dictate, which of the icons are available on the user taskbar?
What puzzles me is why anybody would want to replace the modern Edge with the near obsolete IE. The latter is only good for online updates, and you don't have to pin it on the Taskbar for that.
This is exactly my situation. We use a few web-based applications that require IE 8-11 and there are some features that do not work with edge. Once we sort out the bugs with edge we can start using in but because management want to push out windows 10 asap, we have no choice but to push it out without testing. Removing or hiding Edge and replacing it with IE 11 will solve our problem until we replace it with Edge in the future. In the meantime, we do not want to completely uninstall edge, just hide it and keep in the start menu in case other non ie-11 users want to use it. \ Thanks
