Replacement for a Prof GPU (FirePro v4800)

    Hello,

    This PC is for my sister and I purchased / built it 2 years back.

    Intel Core i7 3770
    Intel Mobo
    16GB DDR-III 1600 MHz
    ATi FirePro v4800

    Now that GPU has gone busted and since it came with 2 years warranty, no chance of getting replaced.

    I need to buy a replacement for her, but in Indian markets (online / offline) I cant find any cost effective solution. Everything in prof series is really hard to come by and even if they do, they are priced really high (dealers wont offer a penny as discount)..

    Now in my budget, I do have many gaming series cards retailing with attractive discount, so the question that I have is, should I buy any gaming series card, if I do which one (sister works with those animation and rendering software).

    Or buying this age old v4800 again since its the only card available in mainstream marked as prof with good price :mad:

    if anyone can shade some light :worthy:
