I had to replace my HDD, I got an almost identical Seagate. I have replaced it and now want to install Win 7 from my disc. Is there anything I need to chéck or change BEFORE I start installing. I must have asked that question six times, no one answers it. Please?
apologies, hannibal lecter, i guess i missed some threads.. however, this seems to be only the second half of the story.. you posted earlier that there was a problem with a dual boot hdd.. is this the one you now replaced with a fresh hdd? no boot to be had from the first one? can you boot from usb, cdrom? just trying to get the picture.. regards, nodnar
strange fault, out of my depth, i`m afraid.. looks like device not ready, ahci, cdrom.. i would set bios to default and try again..
