I had to replace my HDD, I got an almost identical Seagate. I have replaced it and now want to install Win 7 from my disc.

Is there anything I need to chéck or change BEFORE I start installing.

I must have asked that question six times, no one answers it.

    Please?

    apologies, hannibal lecter,

i guess i missed some threads..

however, this seems to be only the
    second half of the story..

you posted earlier that there was a
problem with a dual boot hdd..

is this the one you now replaced with
a fresh hdd? no boot to be had from the
    first one?

can you boot from usb, cdrom?

just trying to get the picture..

    regards,
    nodnar
