You seriously need to read the posts in the top few threads, there is all the info you need. Install whichever version you like...

You need to make sure the setupp.ini pid is *****OEM. If it is VLK or Retail it will not accept the key.

If it is SP3 do not enter key, it is not necessary.

If you change the Setupp.ini, you can then make a .sif file to avoid the key input.

Did you insert the oembios files, do you have a string in bios, it will not show in the rweverything.

Use the tools in the vlk to oem changer. You can use them to check your bios. The oembios.exe will check for strings..

    see here...http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/6351

Use the oembios changer tool in safe mode with your oembios files from dell. I think the bios you flashed has a dell string. To check, use the oembios.exe

Probably 2 and I dont know why it reboots, unless it throws an error about cant activate correctly.

What did you do, there are thousands of reasons the OS will reboot..If you used a vlk install and a oem serial, it will not allow you into the OS..

    http://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/6182

as i dont have other xp iso image ,now my question is now with this disc what are the steps should i follow or i have to get other retail iso, home edition please help.
Here are the steps i followed:

1.Extracted the VL PRO disk to XPOEM FOLDER to C drive.

2.Downloaded the OEM FILES and extracted the temp folder and its contents to XPOEM I386 folder.

3.Downloaded OEMBIOS files and copied to XPOEM I386 folder
    OEMBIOS.BI_
    OEMBIOS.CA_
    OEMBIOS.DA_
    OEMBIOS.SI_

4.Last step compiled the ISO and installed thats all now machoine restarts on welcome screen.

You're missing those files in I386:

    SETUP.INI (example for Asus):
    WINNT.SIF (example for Asus):

Without them your XP is still a VLK and won't let you pass the welcome screen.
