Hi there. I have a HP Compaq dc7700 SFF PC. I have always wanted to restore the PC to factory settings but the recovery partition is long gone and I don't have the Recovery Media. If anyone has a copy of the Recovery Discs then could you please share them here? Kind Regards, ComputerGuy12.
Better is to do a recovery partition by yourself with all drivers and the OS previously preinstalled as I did not find anything related to your request on the net. Good luck
Thanks for your advice. That is why I asked here though because I don't have the Recovery Media and I can't find it on the net so I am hoping someone has it and can upload it. I could do my own Recovery Partition but I really want that original HP feel to it. Kind Regards, ComputerGuy12.
Hi there. Well thanks for trying to help. Hopefully I will eventually find the Media or someone will upload it here. Kind Regards, ComputerGuy12.
Hi everyone. I still can’t find the recovery media anywhere. I always feel like that all the HP computers I have I never have the recovery media for them. I do still hope that someone has it and can upload it somewhere. Kind Regards, ComputerGuy12.
Whoever finds it first post a link, also the WinDVD image would complete the set for other members to have. Since you have a DC7700 SFF, appreciated if you post feedback that these discs actually work (of course, we need the Restore Plus image first)
Hi there, not sure if you still have that PC I just got one and am in the same Boat, I found on archive.org "HP DC7700 Windows XP Professional SP2 Recovery Disk (Polish)" I am currently Downloading to try restore mine to Factory Fresh. Hopefully might be useful for us both! Apologises if not!
@Callum Mounteney Do you need this restore kit explicit? I don't have it but also since this is only SP2 level and probably also more recent drivers available exist. Reason i ask: i got myself a pristine Compaq EVO n620c recently and, no recovery set and those available only on SP2 level. So i made my self an clean SP3 oem image (only with appropriate certs and key) and downloaded latest drivers. (if i really want oem background image and outdated bloatware i could install that, just for the experience i guess... )
