I spend 50 euros per month in Cloud and Dedicated Servers to share a lot of files and you give me the beggar because I use "adf.ly" for a few cents per month ?! Please do not make me laugh! I have not violated any regulation
Personnally : - 140€/month for MSDN - 50€/month Optical Fiber Internet - 50€/month of Server rent - 20€/month for Storage Disk rent = 260€/month for MDL/Microsoft-related work, without talking about other fees like from VLSC & MS Partner Network. I don't even shorten links with services like adf.ly. I try to disable ads on hosters I use. I don't earn any cent. I just do it for passion, and to help people in need. But be sure that behaving like this may lure people in wrong opinions as we are. Of course, you don't violate any rules at MDL if you don't post advertised links, but reuploading on services like cloud.mail.ru (that we mostly use because highly reliable against DMCA takedown requests, so they may not have to be hidden/shorten) and then sharing behind advertised links, even for short remuneration may not be well-seen. Just saying.

I don't believe you should stop sharing. I just pointed out that advertised-links are not well seen. And sharing a direct link to cloud.mail.ru on your website isn't impossible Again, we like when other people reupload/share links to others
