Hey all I'm looking for a portable version of Windows 7 ! To boot from the DVD/USB directly to it ! all the links I have found before are broken THanks
Yeah to boot directly into the windows ! as the main windows is down ! and want to move some files I have mini XP , but i wonder if I can find Windows 7 Version
Ok, I'm sure others will chime in with instructions or a link. The few times I needed to retrieve files from a computer where Windows wasn't booting, I used an Ubuntu LiveCD. Started Ubuntu and then just went to the drive with the files and copied them off. I still do that, but baring HDD damage, if Windows has problems I just restore a Windows system Image and I'm good to go. My data files are not stored on my C: drive and i backup to a third internal HDD and an external HDD.
