I will have to check, but I believe that is what I wrote, well I didn't include media center since it is different. As you clearly can see, discs are different, so stop spreading these false rumours.
thanks to you both for the replys Im new so I'mbound to ask some question here and there if I dont understand, I'll get it down though
2 ISO of XP Tablet I uploaded can be changed to OEM with OEMBIOS file and I found that MS Product Key can work with other OEM such as IBM, Lenovo etc.
I have tried everything I read and still cannot get a working XP Tablet for a Fujitsu Lifebook T4020. It needs to have SATA drivers added to it. Can someone please send me exact instructions on how to make Disk 1. I downloaded the Retail from this thread and have access to a volume license version. I probably have 15 bad disks in the trash. Please help.
you try building that disk as an oem for Fujitsu and adding slitstreamed driver packs to it? it should work.
I tried to duplicate what you made. I took the Retail Disk 1 and added the Fujitsu files to the I386 folder, added the files from PRO RETAIL to PRO OEM folder to the I386, and the Branding files. Ran the MakeISO.exe successfully but I get something completely different. No cmpnents folder amd my iso is 590MB versus your 642MB. What am I missing?
You answered your own question you need to copy cmpnents folder from disk 2 to root of disk one and also check the setupp.ini in i386 it should be. Code: [Pid] ExtraData=786F687170637175716954806365EF Pid=76487OEM
Sorry not to tell that the retail XP Tablet 2005 is SP2. The Fujitsu ISO has been integrate with SP3. And OEM/BIOS Files are working with SP3 ONLY. Aslo OEM product keys are for SP3.
Every time I add drivers with nLite, disk 1 loads XP to completion but it never asks for disk 2. The tablet features are missing or don't work. What file should I be looking at?
I have a fujitsu st5022 tablet, with its COA keys, but no original discs. I have tried lots of win xp tablet editions, and none worked, must have 12 cds and 2 dvds trashed. The only one that worked was wuhoatu's last Fujitsu OEM ISO uploaded to mediafire, on page three. Problem is, after downloading the drivers from the Fujitsu website, some work, others do not, and there are no network adapters showing up on network connections, thus I have no internet. The msconfig.exe is also not working, windows cannot find it, network wizard is also not working. The drivers that didn't work gave an error of windows installer not working properly. Right now, I am downloading the first wuhoatu files on page one. I have been trying to make this tablet work for months, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
@ Ktex, try burning cd/dvd at slower speed and you could buy rewritable one's for testing that will save you money in the long run. Try downloading the drivers again they could be corrupt they should be working if you got them from the Fujitsu web site. I also noticed there are two models the STYLISTIC ST5022D = Active Indoor and STYLISTIC ST5022 = Active Indoor.
Thanks for response. I am using imageburn at slowest speed, and will try again. Retired here, so I have lots of time. I have the stylistic st5022, without the D. I will download the drivers again too. CD's are cheap now, and so far, wuhoatu's files are the only ones that asked for the second cd. all the others didn't. Regards, ktex Update for those having trouble as I did (new here): I downloaded all files from wuhoatu's first page, the win xp pro retail. I then followed the instructions for making an OEM ISO using the OEMBIOS files for Fujitsu. I did change the key numbers in the WINNT.SIF file to the one given on MS site for tablets. Burned, it, it asked me for the next cd, then back to the first cd. Right now I am installing all drivers, and it is a beauty to see everything go all right. Many thanks for all those people that worked hard to instruct us and give advice. Ktex
USE VM FOR TESTING!!! you can load it up in a vm for testing. I would just make a single dvd and test it there..
