    Hi All,

I've been reading about how to "reset" Windows 10.

My question is will I have to then re-download all my windows updates if I do reset my windows?

I don't want to do this unless i have too. OR should i wait for a Windows 10 Creators Updated ISO next month and do a fresh install?

    What would you do...?

    go to Reset This PC
    Press "Get started"

Im getting a few problems with my computer. Best if I reset. I'm assuming I won't have to re download all my windows updates as I have limited download data.

Wrong, Reset as the name implies, reverts the system to fresh install state, so updates will be needed.

Probably as always the current Servicing Stack, CU and Flash Security, not sure about the upgrade compatibility one (KB3150513).

It sounds like it, but since things don’t always go according to personal interpretation, only someone who has actually tried t can tell you, and even the author of the article doesn't seem to have done so in practice. Don’t rely on opinions.

However, resetting will certainly remove your installed apps. I’d consider re-installing these much more of a bother than letting WUs run on their own.

Least drastic is using a System Restore Point, so see if your earliest one will do the trick.
