No key needed, just install Ultimate.
Just run the Loader, with default settings and it will do all automated.

Asrock possibly needs F11 to offer the boot sequence setting.

Screw holes in back of the monitor are stripped. OK,switched monitors. Did F11. This is exciting! Best machine I've ever had. My deceased friend had been a computer engineer.
    .
This has an Acer/HP/Gateway serial # for Home Premium. Don't I need a different one for Ultimate?from here

And should I run Windows Loader right after the installation? Dism++ will take care of the updates.

Any caveats about the SSD? about UEFI? I'm unfamiliar with them.

It was stuck at 73%, Had to restart. Now it won't install at all.

"Win cannot be installed to Disk 0 Partition2. The selected disk has an MBR partition.Windows can only be installed on GPT disks.
Details: refresh delete Format New Load driver Extend"

I know that has some connection with the SSD disk.

Windows Loader will care for the Ultimate product key (the OEM:SLP ones are common knowledge).

If you boot the install media in UEFI mode, Windows Setup will expect a GPT-partitioned disk (just let Setup reinitialize the disk as it was blank anyway).
If you boot the install media in BIOS (Legacy) mode, Setup expects an MBR-partitioned disk.

You can easily recognize the UEFI boot entry for the Setup media, it as an "UEFI: " in front.

Example, first the BIOS/Legacy entry, then the UEFI one:

    <DVD Device name>
    UEFI: <DVD Device name>

I don't know UEFI mode. Restarted
Where will I find " UEFI boot entry for the Setup media?" on the BIOS screen? I don't see any mention of EUFI.

Where do I change SATA to Advanced HostController Interface?

Hard to explain, as BIOS Setups may come in many flavors. If you can call a boot menu at POST (Power On Self Test, usually called with F8 or a similar hotkey) that lists all devices, the DVD drive will be listed two times - once normally and once with "UEFI: ". For an install using MBR, use the non-UEFI one.

I had the BIOS, now I've gone back to the BOOT MENU.

    ASROCK UEFI UTILITY

    AHC1-P0 OCZ-TRION
    AHCI P1:msi DVD-RW DH24AS
    UEFI: msi DVD-RW DH24AS

but there's only 1 DVD drive. Can I pick either one?
If I click "CONFIGURATION," I get the BIOS.

what else do I do on the BIOS? You said "change SATA to Advanced HostController Interface."

It's Loading!! Now it wants a product key. Can I put in Loader before the OS is completely loaded?

I appreciate all your help. I've installed Win7 using a SLP key only once before.

I'm skipping "Install updates" presuming Dism++ will take care of SP1.

Should I run Loader first thing after the OS is in ?

Are you sure dism++ is your update option to go, considering the very low level of comprehension in general?

My problem was the SSD, my first one. Once 7 is in, I'm back in the groove. I have 2 other Win7 machines, one of which I did here 3 years ago with a Prod Key I got here..
