Hello! I need to reinstall Windows 7 on my home-built computer after replacing a failed hard drive, and was directed here for help when I could not locate my original Upgrade key. I have found a wealth of information here, but I am still learning my way around so I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere and I overlooked it.

I did a clean install, but skipped the Product Key entry and activation. I found threads regarding OEM keys, and "The Official Windows 7 Repository" thread. My question is, should I use Daz's loader, or would I be better off using an OEM key? It looks as if the loader is an easy option. But for the OEM keys, does the key just need to be entered, or does it require additional steps or a modified BIOS?

    Thanks in advance!

The loader will load OEM key with certificate for you, basically removing the need to do it yourself.
