Now that is weird. Been using it for very long, never heard of it. Know tons of people using it also, no problems at all with user profiles. Can you explain this a little more ? I'd like to know exactly what's going on here...
Also, the last post explains same issue without using restorator. So are you sure it's the source of the issue ? Are you using the latest version 2 build 1747 ? Cause previous versions don't work well with win7, I do know that. I use it on a daily basis without the slightest problem. Also I have never seen restorator2007 add itself to the contextmenu. If that happens on your end, then that's some strange behaviour of restorator.
Apparently an option under Settings/ShellIntegration. As for the prog in general; never used it myself but 2007 sounds kind of old. Is it merely supposed to alter resources in EXEs and DLLs? (MSSTYLES is a DLL too.) If so i might have a nice alternative for you...
it can alter all kinds of files, but exe and dll are the most used ones in restorator. As for the Shell option in registry : why does it add a shell shortcut in tomorrow's case, but not with others. Could be he's just using an older build.
The demo lasts for 30 days, and doesn't put any noticable watermarks. When trial is over, just uninstall and clean the regkeys. Then dl again for 30 days.
There is a serial floating in the interwebs that works for .v3.70.1729 Works like a charm for me. I don't care for cracked software myself.
Interesting, especially that their site does not list it as existing product File version 4.0.0.1807 sebus
