    Hi everyone,

I MAK activated Office 2013 on Windows 8.1 (I have that MAK key, just in case that I require it later on) and also took a backup of spp...Recently I had to reinstall Windows 8.1 along with Office 2013 on it..I have a MSDN Windows 8.1 key that I can use to activate..The thing is, how do I restore my Office 2013 activation through the spp backup?

Would appreciate any help regarding this :D

    Regards

Josh did you replace the cache directory as well?
I didn't need to do that at all. I simply replaced data.dat and tokens.dat and ran an slmgr /ipk

I didn't test it offline, I'm just trying to help you troubleshoot...

I actually activated my Windows (online, second time) before Installing Office..and copied the tokens afterwards..Since, the tokens backup contained the activation info for both Windows and Office..My second online activation has been wasted for nothing..Anyway, Both Windows and Office are now activated :D
