I've used this since Vista for my photo albums. It's been part of Windows for years, I don't get why they chose to remove it in the Anniversary update. Anyway anyone know a way of getting it back? I'm sure they didn't go to much trouble to remove it. Is there a registry entry to re-enable it or something?
The Anniversary update removed it. Googling shows lots of people used it for their pics, and MS support tells people to request it be added again. Which I'm sure they'll do in 8 years.
So still no solution? I can't understand why they would remove it. It's useful for photos. They'd actually have to put at least some effort into removing it instead of leaving it well alone.
That's a "feature" update. If you don't want features that turn your computer into a phone, use LTSB. If you don't want to use LTSB, enjoy your feature updates.
