    Got this issue on my T500 touchpad - trackpoint works during these 'breaks' the cursor takes - thus a touch driver issue... - strangely only occurred after GA roll-up update..

    Damn irritating I agree...

    Inquiring about this once more. Can't really test anything personally myself since I moved back to 7, but I'm still interested in this.

    Try using it in safe mode, see if it works better there. If it does, then its something that Windows is running that isn't needed.
