Restore windows 8 activation

    Hi,
    about 2 years ago I have installed windows 8 on my PC using "180 days and media center key" activation method. The version is now windows 8.1 Pro with media center and I made a backup of activation files with advanced token manager.
    In short I want to format my PC, if I install the OS with a windows 8.1 installation disk (without media center) and I restore my activation files, does the activation work? Or is there a procedure to follow?:confused:

    I already know this method but if possible I would restore my activation without KMS...

    Yes you can first install windows 8.1 pro and after use generic key to add feature and after use advanced token manager to back up your activaton.:rolleyes:
