    Do they give you a certificate proving a legit upgrade or do they just give you the key?

    Respectively speaking who cares if all you need is generic OEM SLP key for ultimate or whatever.

    It's all based on the existance of the 2.1 slic anyhow

    You guys want to know what's hella funny about this? You can install lets say Home Premium and activate it with lets say Daz's loader. You then decide to upgrade to Pro or Ultimate using Windows Anytime Upgrade. Just type in the OEM Slp key for the version you want and it actually works because the loader emulates slic 2.1. I have personally tested this with Daz's loader 1.7.7 lol. It worked flawlessly. Yes you can do the same thing with a bios mod though lol
