Has someone got a mirror for: Windows XP Pro SP3 English Vol (from the document in the first post). I cannot post the link due to forum restrictions !

It seems to have been removed.

    Thanks for sharing.

The link Gigabyte OEM only have part 3 - 6. Part 1-2 are for Gateway-A04597C6.

Could you reupload part 1-2 for Gigabyte.

Thank you very much in advance for your response.

No need to rush. I'm too not in rush to re-install the OS on my system (will do when I got the time :p).

    Just keep your priorities first.

What do I do with the files?

What exactly do we do with "all the files for your vendor with corresponding SLP String that will activate your system" after we dl and unpack them. BTW I get four distinct files (*.cat, *.dat, *.sig, *.bin) not an iso. Do we slipstream them into an install CD? Is there an instructional page on that? Sorry if I'm being dense.

I figured it out. Tried installing from ASUS-2411858C.iso onto a VirtualBox. Would not activate. Created an ISO (ASUS XP Pro SP3 x86.) from the OEMBIOS files. Installed it on a VirtualBox and it would not activate with the key provided. Any ideas?

Does virtualbox have an Asus SLP 1 string or SLIC in BIOS ?

I dont provide any keys in the setup but yes i believe there are two on the first page.

    Weird..

I downloaded and unpacked Asus and found out that the sha1 mismatch but the ISO matches...so check the ISO and not the rar's

first thing you should run is oembios.exe to check what oembios files you need.
    or
