I have a virtual machine here that a fellow classmate of mine sent me, and I want to if possible retrieve the entire product key from it. It is already activated, and I want to see how many activations remain on this particular volume mak, however slmgr only ever shows the last 5 of the product key. All keyfinders I've tried, including Magical Jellybean keyfinder only show all B's for the key, so that's of no help. Is there any tool out there that will allow me to retrieve the entire volume MAK product key from this virtual machine? Thanks much for any help.

No, there is no such tool. Key is not stored in registry.

"THERE IS NO TOOL THAT CAN READ MAK KEYS FROM an installed system"

    And thank goodness for that.
