Retry failed Windows Updates?

    Hi guys,

    Is it it possible to retry failed updates? In "View Update History," I see a bunch of failed updates. Some of them are pretty standard like Intel HD Graphics which makes me think they may have been just temporary failures (like Internet problem or I interrupted it by shutting down, etc). I was hoping I can at least try to reinstall them again.

    Most will probably come in over the next few days, the servers must be getting hammered.

    But, if you want to try and force them to install, do this.
    1. Stop the Windows Update service.
    2. Delete everything in the 'C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download' folder
    3. Reboot and try Windows Update again.

    Worked a few time for in the past. ;)
