I ususally create a restore point before a questionable software install. And afterwards use System restore to re,move it, my understanding is that will change EVERYTHING back to before that install. Am I wrong?
No, you're perfectly right, provided you uninstall immediately, before other important registry changes take place. But if you want to try the program, say for a week, and then decide to uninstall it, then Revo Pro installation monitor will still remove all traces of it. I clarified this in my subsequent post.
