    Hi all,
I have 3 hdama mb's but can't get them to power up, I have connected psu (24/20 pin and 8pin atx connectors and front panel) green led lights up but when pwr button is pressed nothing happens, any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Is the power button connector plugged into the right header, as according to a manual?

Hmm, sounds strange, checked the CPU power connector? Checked for bad capacitors?

Have they got onboard GPU's or are you using a seperate one?

Yes there is onboard graphics, all capcitors are fine :) only connections I saw was main atx plug and then an 8pin socket with black and yellow wires (12v I think) these boards are server boards dual socket 940, with 2x amd 2.4Ghz cpu's

Hi, yes now you mention it when I press the per button power supply does make a click sound but then goes quiet, it's a 350 watt redundant psu it's a delta psu used in the intel 5000 chassis, only my motherboard is plugged in and I have tried with a hard disk, I have tried a normal 500w psu out of a normal pc which had all the connections on it?

Hmm that clicking sounds like a short or not enough power to work the build, don't hold me to it though.

Can you give me more than just a M/B name, can I have model number of the motherboards please?
