Is it possible to roll back to win 7 after 30 days? The windows.old folder is gone.

    Thanks

If Windows.old is gone, what is there to roll back to?

Is win 10 to fast for your MOBO ? puts 7 to shame with new hardware like the 9 series and above, has no NVMe support like 10 does.

OK, Thanks. I was hoping that maybe a recovery program might be able to find the windows.old file. I can always do a clean install of 7 but I hate the 100+ updates I have to install. I'm helping out a friend and no, she doesn't have a back up prior to installing 10. :weep:

I can't see how reinstalling Win10 is "helping" her out...;) There are plenty of nice folks here who wouldn't mind trying to help if they knew what the problem was. Maybe she won't need to revert. But, your call, of course...

There are 200+ updates, but you can use "Simplix Update Pack", it will make your Win 7 SP1 updating experience a bit easier :) It can be used "offline" and "online".
