Check out the Cisco Linksys WAG 120N. You can buy one for around £50 , very reliable and secure. Good WiFi range too.

Most wireless problems especially when the user experiences poor or intermittent wireless switching off is nearly always down to interference. Most of today's routers come with default settings. If you are experiencing problems try setting the wireless channel to a different channel on the router. You may find that you will experience the same problems with the replacement router if the problem is down to interference. Go into the router's settings and change the wireless channel from the default settings to a different channel. The interference could be your neighbors router interfering with yours.

If you need further help just post back. We are more than happy to assist.
