router number

    i am trying to re set the firewall in my bt homehub router and think i may need to find the adress number for it. eg;168.124.1.256. to get into the settings.help please as any downloads i try are all firewalled.

    Can't you direct access your router's firmware? And what number do you need? IP adress? How about the network settings?

    im not sure what you call the number,maybe its the ip address of the router if that makes sense.just want to bring up the router settings so i can lower the firewall settings a little to stop blocking my downloads.

    run cmd
    type: ipconfig /all
    press enter
    the gateway IP is your router-IP
